After several years of discussion, a swing studio at Seacroft GC has now come to fruition and opened in February this year. An indoor swing studio is the way forward for coaching at any club and is especially important at SGC as the practice area is away from the clubhouse and first tee.
The state of the art studio uses Trackman 4, which allows the golfer to access the full range of club and ball data from more than 40 parameters on every shot in their game. It does this by using optically enhanced radar tracking (OERT) technology to capture the exact impact location on the clubface. That level of precision is unrivalled in the game.
As well as tuition, we now have availability for custom fittings in the studio. In the shop we are stockists of Ping and TaylorMade, along with their full extent of custom shafts. All custom fittings are performed with Titleist Pro V1 balls to ensure further reliability of the custom fitting. A custom fitting with Nick costs £30.00
Another facility is that Trackman allows the user to pick from over 300 courses worldwide so you can challenge your friends to a round of golf at world renowned courses. Up to 4 players can play at any time for the best experience and enjoyment. Hire of the studio for practise/playing is £45.00 for the first hour with every additional hour costing £25.00.
Using Trackman when coaching ensures that Nick can utilise quality information with current knowledge from his PGA qualification. Indoor lessons using Trackman analysis start at £45.00 for an hour.
